About David Eide-Altman
My Background
My musical training is in organ and piano and I have been a church organist all my life. I have 15 years experience teaching piano, specializing in pre-school and grade school students.
Sharing my Passion
I believe in making music study fun and preparing students for success in reading music and playing for enjoyment. I think it is important to include religious music with the regular lesson materials. I use the most successful and the latest piano method course in the United States: Piano Adventures by Nancy and Randall Faber.
Piano Lessons
I offer private lessons at my home in Niles, Michigan or over Zoom. The first lesson is free as a meet-and-greet so that we can see where you are at and you can share your goals. Weekly lessons are 30 minutes with a reduced rate for 2 or more in the same family.
